About Me

Jim, a native of Ashland, Ky. Found his way to Lexington where he started attending the University of Kentucky. His love for the Bluegrass inspired him to make Lexington his home where he raised his two children who reside in Lexington also.

With a passion for UK basketball and football, Jim started with a locally owned retail business where he served as Director of Operations and Purchasing Agent at Kentucky Korner for 32 years. His hard work and commitment solidified the exclusive on site retailer relationship for University of Kentucky Mens Basketball at Rupp Arena.

Being an outdoors enthusiast, he enjoys the water and serves on the Board of Directors for the Lake Ellerslie Fishing Club located in Lexington. His loyalty to the Bluegrass and long time interest in real estate has brought him to Building The Bluegrass. Jim has been building relationships throughout his career and looks forward to helping home buyers through the purchasing process.
